Access Google Cache Of Webpage From Firefox Using gCacheplus Addon

Google Cache is very helpful in accessing a cached version of the website available on the Google Server, while the website is down.But the problem is that one needs to manually Google the URL and click on “Cached” from the results to view the Google Cache copy of the webpage.

google-cachegCacheplus is a firefox addon that lets users easily access the Google Cache of the webpage your trying to access if the webpage is not accessible directly or webserver is down (404 error page).

After installing the plugin, You can access the Google Cache directly in 4 ways,

  • Keyboard Shortcuts -( gcache-mac-shortcut ) on Mac
    (CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+G) on Windows
  • Via status bar icon
  • Context Menu
  • Navigation Menu, icon which can be dragged and dropped on to the navigation menu from Customize Toolbar
