Block Websites From Being Shown In History Without using Private Browsing Mode In Firefox

Most modern day web browsers have a private browsing features that don’t store any browsing information, but to block a site that you suddenly came across and that you don’t want it to show up in the history, then HistoryBlock is one handy plugin to always have.

Incase you want to prevent the site you currently browsing or a file you download that you don’t want to reflect in the download history from being stored in the history then enable the addon and then simply right-click on a page and hit “Block This!” to automatically add the hostname and/or subdomain of the current page to the blacklist.
