If you observed I placed a widget on the top of the sidebar, Its a widget from a webservice called Wowzio, which auto generated different kinds of Widgets that can be used to promote content on your blog.There no need of coding, just copy paste the generated code for generating your site specific content widgets.

Wowzio offers 6 different types of  widgets,
