Create Shortcuts To Frequently Visited Sites In Firefox
If you use windows you might be aware of creating shortcuts for launching applications, You could also launch sites in firefox similarly using a Firefox add-on called SiteLauncher which lets you open your favorite websites using only your keyboard from the ‘Launcher’ window with a press of a key, followed by a unique key to launch a site which can be configured.
SiteLauncher is especially useful for opening websites you use often throughout the day, for example, Google, Gmail, Facebook, and Twitter. You can also configure how the launcher looks you can change colors, text size, spacing, column size, etc and configure it to your liking.
Features :
- Default hotkey is customizable.
- You can arrange the placement of shortcuts on the launcher manually or have automatically arranged.
- Set Launcher to open sites in current or new tab

- There is also no limitation on the number of sites or shortcut combinations.
- Also set Launcher to appear on startup instead of your homepage.
There is also a silent launcher that does not provide the visual launcher to indicate when it’s active, you have to keep it pressed down while pressing the key for the site you want.
or the default Ctrl+Space (or Ctrl+Alt for Mac users) to bring forward the Launcher.
The Add-on is still experimental so you have to login to download it from mozilla or you could download the add-on from the developers site.
Download SiteLauncher Add-On.
It Supports all versions of Firefox 2 and 3 to date.
