Delete Your Accounts On Popular Sites and Social Networking Sites Like Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, WordPress etc.,
Most users don’t delete their accounts, but just leave it and forget it and stop logging it, But its always advisable for users of any site to delete/close their accounts if one decides to stop using the online service, so that no other takes control of your account by any means and you be held responsible for their acts.
So the First Question that arises on the minds of most users is. How do we delete the account on the site(s), what are the steps.I’ve come across Delete Your Account a website which shows how you can delete accounts from all of the major social networking, blogging, shopping, etc. sites and services across the web.
Here’s how you can do it, if you have an account on FaceBook you can either deactivate your account or delete it permanently.
To deactivate: ( Account is not visible to users and all the data is retained )
- Visit your Account Settings
- Choose “deactivate account”
- Fill out the form, and click “Deactivate My Account”
To delete:
- Visit the delete my account page and click submit.
