Filter Out Ads In Internet Explorer Using SelectView

selectview If you are a Internet Explorer user, and want to get rid of the Ads that popup while browsing then SelectView is an IE filter that can filter out ads in IE.It similar to what Adblock Plus does in Firefox, which does not have an IE version.With selectview you can block ads on local pages, collapse blocked elements,filter flash, check banner link, filter script, filter frame, Filter Marquee text.

You can also add websites in the WhiteList which can be accessed in the Preferences.The sites that you add in the Whitlelist are skipped without blocking any ads from that site.

You can enable SelectView from the toolbar of IE, check the screenshot below

SelectView Requirements

  • Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP or Vista
  • Windows Installer 2.0 or higher, which is usually part of your system. Click here to install it if it’s not.
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
