In-Line Search Addon In Internet Explorer Using IEForge

ieforge Firefox, Chrome have what is called inline search,which highlight words on the page as you type in the search field which is easier than pressing return key to find word by word as is the case in Opera and Internet Explorer. Here’s how you can fill the gap in IE by using IEForge a free add-on for Internet Explorer that mimics Firefox’s search behavior and also has find as you type facility.

It works with all versions of IE 5.5 and above.The original search feature is still available after installing this addon which can be accessed from Edit –> Search.

IEForge Shortcuts :

CTRL-F or F3 : to open/refresh the search pane

ESC : to close the search pane when in focus

F3 or ENTER : find the next occurrence

SHIFT-F3 (or) Shift-Enter : find the previous occurrence
