Make Your WordPress Blog Mobile Phone Ready
Mobile phones have made it easier to access the internet over high speed connection via mobile phones, and if you run your website/blog with WordPress then you can make you blog render correctly on mobile phones faster and correctly using MobilePress.
MobilePress is a WordPress plugin that will render your WordPress blog on mobile handsets, with the ability to use customized themes. The plugin also allows specific themes for specific devices / mobile browsers, such as iPhone, Opera Mini, Windows CE Mobile and other generic handset browsers.
MobilePress also detects Google and Yahoo mobile search bots which will help your blog to be indexed on Google and Yahoo mobile search.
Installation.
1. Upload the mobilepress directory to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
3.Specify a custom title/description for your mobile blog, in the MobilePress admin panel.These settings will only reflect in the mobile version of your blog and not on the regular blog for internet browsers.
