Save URL For Later Reading In Mac OS Using Quiet Read

I’ve earlier shared a firefox plugin Read It Later that makes reading your bookmarks offline in firefox, If you are a Mac OS user here Quiet Read, a tool that can save url’s for later reading by simply dragging the link from your browsers address bar onto a menu bar item to store it.

How To Use Quite Read :

  • Drag the link from your browser’s address bar onto the menu bar item.

  • To view the links, just double click the Quite Read menu icon, lets your browse the saved articles in a drop down menu.

Keyboard Shortcuts :

  • Command Key + Return Key, for viewing saved urls.
  • Command + Close – to delete link.

Quiet Read is free and requires Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6)
