Search and Watch YouTube Videos Right On Your Desktop With Sprink
If you wanted to see a YouTube Video and that we did was visit YouTube and search for the video and see it.But now that can be changed using Sprink.Sprink is a portable YouTube Client based on the WPF that can lets you search and watch YouTube Video right from your desktop.
Search for the video from the search box and list appears and the results can also be seen in coverflow style, click on any video link to start playing it, you can always return back to the search results by clicking the list or coverflow icons. The Sprint windows is always on top, ie., you cannot minimize the application and is always on top of all other application.Hopefully this would be possible in upcoming versions. It would be great if bookmark video’s or tweet the video aswell.
Another limitation is that this works on only
- Microsoft Windows 7 Beta (from Build 7000 – Build 7106)
- Microsoft Windows Vista SP1 or above
This is just preview release the author plans to implement more features like
- Integration with Windows 7 taskbar
- Ability to mark videos as favorite right from the client.
- Support for other video service providers like MSN Video, Vimeo etc.
