Sony Ericsson Launches 12 MP Camera Phone ndash; Idou

GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain started off today with the biggest launch coming from Sony Ericsson today which launched the worlds first 12 MP Camera Phone codenamed IDOU.

• Symbian operating system
• 3.5 inch TFT Touchscreen 360 x 640 pixels (16 million colors)
• 16:9 widescreen format support
• MicroSD card support
• All the capabilities of Sony Ericsson’s Walkman range of phones are available in Idou
• 3G (HSDPA), Wi-Fi, DLNA, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0
• 12.1 megapixel camera and Xenon flash, LED for Video, geo-tagging, Face and Smile Detection
• GPS with A-GPS support
• FM radio
• Supports Sony Ericsson’s new Media Go service which allows you to easily transfer music, videos, photos and podcasts between your mobile phone and computer.
• Available in 3 colors Progressive Black, Cosmic Silver and Energetic Red

The phone would be available in the second half of 2009.
