Recently I’ve shared a firefox addon Instant Tweets that let you tweet straight from your firefox address bar,now launch applications straight from Firefox address bar using Quickfire Firefox addon on Mac OS X directly from the address bar of your browser.

Quickfire is similar to Launchy, and other such application launchers.This addon works only on MAC OSX only and is still in experimental phase so install it on your own risk but the idea seems to be really good making firefox multi dimension making it more than just a browser.
