The competition for the world’s slimmest notebook and also for a power packed slimmest notebook is heating up.Apple introduced the MacBook Air at the recently held MacWorld Expo 2008. Apple claims it to be the most light weight and thinnest notebook laptop in the world. But it still lacks some of the features that many might want to have on their notebook like a DVD Drive, Ethernet Port, more USB ports.

Lenovo has come up with a superslim ThinkPad X300, which has more features than the MacBook Air, leaving aside the looks of an Lenovo notebook, whereas the MacBook Air is definitely has good looks. I feel one would definitely give more importance to features than to looks. What good is a notebook that looks good but does not deliver with its specifications.

Here a look at a comparison of both the notebooks

ThinkPad X300 also ports with GPS and and your choice of Windows XP or Vista.

Lenovo’s ThinkPad X300 will be announced on Feb 26th 2008.

nike_ipodYou might have seen joggers listen to music while they jog, Nike and iPod is a good combination but the two companies have made this combination even better.Nike has designed a newly styled shoe called the Air Zoom Moire that has a little space in the sole of the left shoe that houses the Nike + iPod transmitter. The receiver that comes with the set fits into your iPod Nano. The catch here is that only users of Nano ( any Nano version ) can use the Air Zoom Moire.

After waiting in long queues, waiting on the streets for getting an IPhone for yourself, The iphone was bought by most of them for using it as a multimedia device. But the guys from Think Secret and iFixit had other ideas they have taken apart the phone for having a look at what when went into creating this phone.

Check out the step by step disassembly in pictures at Think Secret [ 49 images ] and Ifixit [ 25 Images ].

All the images show how to disassemble the phone but there are no images showing how to put all of that back.I doubt whether they could get to fix all those parts together and get the phone working. So don’t even think of doing this !!

Enjoy the phone and let aside about what went into making the phone.I mean the hardware, congrats to Apple engineers for their hard work.
