CleanHandler - Edit AutoPlay Options In XP and Vista »

When you pop in a CD/USB Drive in XP/Vista you get an AutoPlay Option Window giving you an option to chose the action to be taken directly using the applications listed in the AutoPlay Options.

CleanHandlers helps you remove the invalid entries from the listing. In addition, this utility can find invalid AutoPlay entries and also remove them automatically.

Application Fixes :

  1. Select an action to perform box is completely blank for an event.
  2. To remove unwanted entries from the AutoPlay window.
  3. A junk entry appears in the AutoPlay window, sub-titled as <need provider>

AutoPlay Handlers are located at the following registry location in Windows

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ AutoplayHandlers \ Handlers \ <handler>

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ AutoplayHandlers \ EventHandlers \ <Event Name>

Note : Registry Editing is a tricky part, so do backup your registry before you try editing your registry.

Preview Images In Context Menu »

xnview.PNGXnview’s shell extension enables users to view the preview of an image by simply right clicking on the image in the context menu, Set the image as his wallpaper either centered or Best fit to desktop, Convert the image into 7 different formats ( GIF, BMP, JPG, PCX, PNG, TIF, TGA ) right from the menu’s Convert Into Option, Change the size of the preview.

And the best part of it is that it is FREE !!!

  1. Add some build-in utilities in order to do operations over files and folders.
  2. Add customized commands which let run external applications, copy/move to a specific folder or delete specific file types.
  3. Configure the “Send to…” submenu.
  4. Enable/disable the commands which are added by other applications to the context menu.
  5. Create shortcuts for general operations like creating new folder, moving to dos, renaming files, moving files…and many more.
