If you look out for wallpapers at Flickr, searching and saving them can be tedious.So here’s a tool called WallpaperFlickr that can get you wallpapers from Flickr based the tags you mention or based on the username.

You can have it rotate the wallpaper at regular intervals, like once a day for example.

You can mention the position of the random wallpaer

Requirements:

Phreeting allows you to create and send online greeting cards using images from flickr.Just enter your keywords and then drag and drop the image into the rectangle on the top right side, and type your message in the second rectangle.

There are 7 color schemes to customize your greetings.

You have to copy+paste the url generated available below the color scheme and send it to your friend for him to see the greeting or just press send to open your default e-mail-client in your system.

PicLens has become one of my favorite FireFox addon, It transforms your browser into a full-screen slide show experience for viewing photos on the Web from services like Flickr, Facebook, Google Images, Yahoo Images, Friendster, Picasa Web Albums, and any other service which support Media RSS.A single click on the thumbnail images transforms the browser into the full screen slide show.

During the fullscreen slide show you can move along the images manually or press the play button for automatic slideshow. For pausing the slideshow Press ” SpaceBar “.

For Exiting PicLens Press ” Escape ” on the keyboard.

This Extension is available for both FireFox and Safari.It supports FireFox 2.0+ on Windows XP and Vista and Safari 2.0 or 3.0 on Mac OS X 10.4.x.

Uninstalling PicLens

FireFox : Goto Addon in the Tool menu, select PicLens from the list and press Uninstall.

Safari : select the Remove PicLens option from the View > PicLens menu in Safari, or delete the PicLens folder from the /Library/InputManagers folder of your hard disk.

You can have a higher resolution image of any Flickr Photo using FlickrGetHigh extension in FireFox that lets you view the largest available resolution of any image/photo on flickr.

How to use :
Right clicking on any image/photo, in flickr, and selecting the “Flickr: Load HighRez” menu item will launch a new window with the pointed photo in its largest resolution.

My Observation: I have observed that not all the latest images/photos on Flickr have an higher resolution image,But older images/photos were having higher resolution images.
