Growl When your multi-tasking and want to know the status of an App, that’s running in the background.You will have to switch windows, but with Growl is a notification system for Mac OS X: it allows applications that support Growl to send you notifications.

Notifications are a way for your applications to provide you with new information, without you having to switch from the application you’re already in.

Features :

  1. Complete control over which notifications are shown and how they are displayed.
  2. Centralized notification preferences for easy management.
  3. It starts with system start-up.
  4. Notifications can be emailed to you or spoken instead of displayed on the screen.

Download Free Leopard Docks For Your Mac OS X »

If you are a Mac OSX user you can change the dock style, LeopardDocks offers many dockstyles to download for free for your OS.

To install the docks follow these steps

1. Click the ‘Download’ button above the image of the dock you want

2. Open the folder System/Library/CoreServices/

3. Control-/right-click on Dock.app and choose “Show Package Contents”

4. Navigate to Contents/Resources/

5. Make a backup of all of the “scurve” .PNG files and then get rid of them from that folder (authentication may be required)

6. Copy the contents of the downloaded file into this folder.

7. Open up Terminal.app and type “killall Dock” (without quotes)
