decenturl1URL redirection is a good option to reduce the length of URL’s, but the URL is completely alphanumeric and cannot be easily remembered. In most of the services the main goal is to make the URL’s short, But the question is How do you remember the URL? DecentURL is similar to all, but differs with others in giving the redirection URL a decent name.

decenturl

DecentURL makes it decent by grabbing a title automatically. Just leave the “decent title” blank, and it’ll get one from the <title> of the page you’re linking to.DecentURL links will never expire.

It also offers 2 bookmarklet

  • Let-you-choose bookmarklet:Using this bookmarklet you get to choose the Title, before creating the Decent URL.
  • Auto-submit bookmarklet: DecentURL creates the URL immediately. It’s a one-click process, but you don’t get to change the title if you don’t like it.

Note : The Bookmarklets presently don’t work on Internet Explorer 6.
