How To Check If Your Blog Posts Are Indexed By Google

Most websites and blogs receive lots of organic traffic from Google, and there is no easy way to keep track of which posts were indexed by Google and which were not.If you run a blog that runs on WordPress and use XML Sitemap Generator Plugin for creating sitemaps for your blog then you can keep track of which posts that Google Bot’s crawled using IndexSpy-WP.

A list of all indexed and unindexed posts are shown under the plugins settings page. You can also create a feed of the posts that you keep track of that have not been indexed, from the Google Index Spy settings page.

Note : Update your XML Sitemap Generator to the latest version and also make sure you generate the sitemap using the same before activating Google Index Spy.

Thank you for this great article. I have problems with my website. I have deleted some of my posts because I really need to do it. Now my nonexistent urls are still indexed by Google and I want to know if what urls are indexed by Google. Thanks!

Frederick, you can try Google Webmaster for getting the list of URL’s that are giving 404 and also stop those URL’s from indexing.
