Twitter Phishing Alert

A Phising attack has been observed which is being carried out by sending out a direct message to users, reading: “check out this funny blog about you”, It is advised not to follow the link as it is leads to a fake Twitter login page that attempts to steal your Twitter login.

This is what the Twitter Blog  says

If you receive a direct message or a direct message email notification that redirects to what looks like Twitter.com—don’t sign in. Look closely at the URL because it could be a scam.
