I’ve earlier shared tools like Writer, and Dark Room, which were Full Screen Distraction free writers, If you use MS Word a lot and don’t want to install a new app for creating documents in full screen,then you can try out the WriteSpace – MS Office Addon, for full screen distraction free writing environment in MS Word 2007.The addon has a built in spellcheck functionality.

WriteSpace supports MS Word 2007/2010 and on installation you can find “WriteSpace” in the office ribbon, which on clicking would launch the full screen writer environment.It fully supports Windows 7 and gets pinned to the Windows 7 TaskBar. and supports Multiple Monitors.

In the full screen environment you’ll find options like :

• Text Formatting – Not fully supported in the current version.
• Spell Check.
• Drag/drop Margin Adjustment
• Find – Ctrl + F to launch, search box and F3 for next, next …
• Goto Line – Ctrl + G, helps you go to a specific line in the text.
• Status Bar – Which is visible by hovering your mouse over the bottom part of the screen, that shows information about the document and current row and column.
• Zoom – You can zoom into the document using the wheel of the mouse by holding onto Ctrl.
